Who We Are
Founded in 1999 by John Healy, The Healy FX Studios has designed and fabricated hundreds of iconic characters, creatures and special make-up effects for the film and television industry. We are a collection of highly skilled artist’s including sculptors, mould makers, computer graphic artists and animatronic technicians. In 2005 the European branch of the company was opened in Bucharest, Romania. Healy FX Studios has now cemented the centre place among Special make-up effects company’s world wide. John Healy has worked with such notable film directors as Steven Spielberg, James Cameron, John Landis and Brett Ratner and has been the personal make-up artist to Nicolas Cage, Steven Seagal and Jennifer Beals.
